There are 20+ sections on here to start an 'intelligent rant' and for anything else -- off topic
I don't think a new section just for debates would be necessary and would take away reason to debate on other sections of the board.

Voted yes. Debating is my guilty pleasure and if I don't have a debate to release my frustrations out, it will come down heavily on somebody else's shoulders.... hard.
It will definitely help in raising the numbers of this forum and it can be used to replace sections of this forum that are not used at all.
